Christopher Matthews is a senior financial services and transformation senior leader with over 20 years of experience driving enterprise strategy, digital innovation, and operational excellence across global banking organizations. He has led large-scale multi-million transformation portfolios, delivering measurable impact through data, AI, and technology-enabled operating models.

Most recently, Christopher served as Director and Head of Data Products & Insights Lead within the Chief Executive Auditor Group at Royal Bank of Canada, where he led a global data and analytics strategy spanning multiple regions and lines of business. His work has consistently delivered tangible results, including double-digit improvements in productivity, cost efficiency, and risk coverage through scalable data products and intelligent automation.

Christopher is also the Founder of BetaBox Advisory Group Inc., an advisory firm focused on AI & innovation readiness and operational effectiveness. Through BetaBox, he partners with organizations to design and implement practical, ROI-driven strategies that embed AI, into business workflows, strengthen data governance, and modernize operating models.

He holds an MBA from the Ivey Business School at Western University, where he specialized in global strategy and completed a capstone focused on international market entry and acquisition strategy. He also holds certificate in Generative and Agentic AI for Business from Rotman School of Management,  Big Data Analytics from York University and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
