
Rokhaya Gueye
Rokhaya Gueye, affectionately known as Rok, is a dedicated Stakeholder Relations leader at the Carpenters Regional Council and the Ontario Chair of Sisters in the Brotherhood (SIB).
A graduate of George Brown College in Construction Engineering Technician Management, she began her career in construction but transitioned to telecommunications due to childcare challenges.
In 2020, Rok reignited her passion for trade by joining the Carpenters Union. As a certified coach, Quadri-lingual mentor, and advocate, Rok is committed to empowering women, youth, and newcomers to pursue careers in construction while championing diversity and inclusion.
With her extensive experience in leadership, community service, and advocacy, Rok inspires transformative change and continues to make a positive impact across the construction industry and beyond.
