Robin Clarke

Robin Clarke is a researcher, scholar-practitioner, educator, and specialist with extensive expertise in organizational leadership, academic research, strategic planning, and governance. With a strong foundation in integrated marketing communications, change leadership, and policy development, Robin has held impactful leadership roles in both Jamaica and Canada.

His professional strengths include designing career development programs, leading recruitment initiatives, crafting institutional policies, developing strategic plans, engaging diverse stakeholders, and fostering inclusive and equitable environments.

Robin’s career spans a wide range of leadership and management roles, including college dean, research assistant, public relations officer, marketing manager, marketing consultant, recruiter, and senior lecturer. In these roles, he has successfully led large teams, managed significant budgets, and driven strategic initiatives.

Currently, Robin serves as a specialist at Ontario’s regulatory body for accountants and accounting firms. In this role, he leads recruitment efforts and champions equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI). He works closely with newcomer organizations and integration agencies to support internationally educated professionals and equity-deserving communities. Robin is also an active member of the organization’s EDI Working Group, contributing to the development and implementation of inclusive strategies.

Robin is pursuing a doctoral degree at Western University, where his research focuses on addressing anti-Black racism in corporate Canada and promoting inclusive professional environments.

His academic contributions include two peer-reviewed publications on Jamaican culture, stemming from his decade-long tenure as a lecturer and researcher at the University of the West Indies, Mona. Beyond his professional and academic pursuits, Robin serves on the transitional board of the Black Coalition for AIDS Prevention and teaches part-time at Excelsior Community College in Jamaica.
