Michael Miller has been working within the electric utility industry for over 35 years. His career began at Jamaica Public Service Company Ltd (JPS) where he worked in various engineering capacities until 2002 when he migrated to Canada.

Upon migrating to Canada, Michael continued working within the industry. He is currently employed by Alectra Utilities, the largest municipally owned electric utility in Canada. Prior to this he worked at Horizon Utilities, Hamilton and Hydro One Brampton before they were both amalgamated to become Alectra Utilities.

His educational and professional background include a Bachelor’s in Engineering (Electrical Power), University of Technology, Jamaica and a Master’s in Business Administration, Nova Southeastern University. He has attained professional designations as a Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Certified Engineering Technologist (CET).
