Donovan Smith was born and raised in the parish of Manchester, Jamaica. He attended the
Moravian Church in the parish of St. Elizabeth where had an encounter with the Lord Jesus
Christ that set him on a path of success.  

After graduating from high school, he attended trade school where he studied an automotive
mechanic program and obtained a successful passing grade. 
Donovan migrated to Canada in 1986 to live with his father and continue his schooling in
Heating, Air Condition, and Ventilation (HVAC) at Humber Collage. The meeting he had with the
Lord was profound when he arrived in Canada. He sought a place of worship and God placed
him in a thriving assembly. 
Donovan was not fulfilled in the HVAC program, so he enrolled at Sheridan Collage and
graduated as a driving instructor while doing odds job as a mechanic. 
In 1993, he got married and his union produced three wonderful children. As he continued to
serve the Lord, Donovan completed a double Diploma in Theology from the institute of
Cornerstone Academy of Biblical Studies in Ottawa, Ontario. 
The passion he had in the automotive industry led him to give up all other forms of career paths
and he returned to work at a dealership for a few years.  
For the pass sixteen years, Donovan has been operating his own business as an Automotive
Technician at D.A.S. Autocare located in Brampton, Ontario. 
In 2024, Donovan graduated from Heritage Seminary in Biblical Care and Counselling.  
In Donovan spare time he likes to watch Martial Arts movies, Actions movies, Hilarious
Cartoons, Reading and researching all forms of History materials and writing. He is an author of
Messages from my Father.
