This discussion is designed for Black Canadian youth (ages 11 to 30) and their parents, with a critical goal: demystifying board governance and empowering the next generation to claim their space in decision-making rooms. Too often, boardrooms can feel out of reach for young people, yet these are exactly the spaces where systemic community change is driven.

We want to show our youth that their voices, lived experiences, and fresh perspectives are not just valuable, but absolutely essential in shaping the future of the Black Canadian community.
